.Children from William Tennant's School, Warminster, Pennsylvania (U.S.A.), visited Dewey House, Warminster, Wiltshire (England) on Monday (18 July 1988) bearing gifts and greetings for the town council.

England's Warminster Mayor, Peter Gough, took the American visitors to the town's library where they were welcomed by local historian, Danny Howell, who gave them a conducted tour of the museum.

The group then returned to Dewey House, where Mr. Gough gave thema letter of greeting to take back, and Tony Duke presented the young ambassadors with a print of Warminster, England, and Mr. Howell's book "The Inns And Taverns Of Warminster".

Town Clerk Joan Withey gave the group a local Warminster mug each and a large book containing pictures of the town. The visitors also received a copy each of Mr. Howell's book "Postcards Of Warminster" from the author.

For their part, the children presented Mr. Gough with a medallion inscribed with the name of their school and coat of arms together with a letter of greetings from the chairman, Christopher Staub, another letter in the same tone from the principal, Kenneth D. Kastle, a certificate from the American county of Buckinghamshire, and a mug inscribed "Warminster Pennsylvania".
