WORKERS EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATION CLOSURE
The Warminster Branch of the Workers Educational Association, which has organised adult classes in a variety of subjects, local and of general interest, since 1972, has closed.
At its Annual General Meeting, held yesterday (14 April 1992), it was formally wound up. Lack of support and rising costs were the reasons given for the decision not to continue.
